Dance Flow inspires creative presence in our bodies as we navigate music genres, challenge our movement connection, and dive into a liberating fusion. Drum and bass (D&B) is a style of electronic dance music built on fast breakbeats and heavy sub-bass. It emerged out of the Caribbean-influenced UK rave scene in the 1990s, with samples and synths layered over its rhythm-driven core, making it a great example of experimental and fusion music. The event will be loosely strutured into the following moments: Meet + Greet: Welcome to the space feel the energy of D&B around you. Dance + Music: Embrace your body’s connection to the music and explore fusion cultures. Social Improvisation: Solo and interactive cues are offered to spark your exploration.
