MLK Scholar Presentation "Capturing the Invisible, Building the Future: Optical Nanotweezers for Nanoplastics, Nanomedicine, and Quantum " by Visiting Professor Justus C. Ndukaife

Building 10, Room 105, 222 Memorial Drive, Cambridge, MA

Admission: Free

Some of today's most important challenges in health and technology play out at a scale we can barely see. Prof. Justus Ndukaife will show how his lab's optical nanotweezers capture and characterize this invisible world in a label-free manner—from nanoplastics (ARPA-H STOMP program) to drug-delivery nanomedicine—while working with MIT teams to build next-generation quantum technologies through the deterministic placement of quantum emitters onto nanophotonic devices. He will also share his mentorship philosophy and vision for lasting research partnerships at MIT.
