Love Has Come: A Holiday Variety Show at Club Passim

This December, a group of Greater-Boston songwriters, musicians, and friends come together at Passim for a one-night-only holiday variety show celebrating original music, collaboration, and a shared love of Amy Grant’s 1983 classic A Christmas Album. With Emily Haviland curating and leading the group,the showcase will feature songwriters such as Alisa Amador, Kaiti Jones, and Hayley Sabella. The Houseband will include Felix Sartori (formerly of Twisted Pine) and Rich Hinman (currently touring with Sara Bareilles). The evening will move between original songs, unexpected collaborations, and selections from A Christmas Album —reimagined by some of New England’s most distinctive voices and players. Part songwriter round, part holiday special, and part gathering of friends, the show trades the usual holiday concert polish for something more intimate, playful, and homespun. Expect artists sitting in on one another’s songs, new arrangements, a few surprises, and plenty of reasons to settle in for the beginning of December. Come celebrate the season with a night of original music, old favorites, and a little Tennessee Christmas in Cambridge.
