The Longfellow Summer Arts Festival brings music, poetry, and community to the East Lawn of the Longfellow House on Sunday afternoons through the summer. All events are free and open to the public. Of Earth and Sky will feature violinist Hannah O'Brien and cellist Matthew Smith . Selections include fiddle tunes drawing on Scottish and Appalachian traditions, and other works inspired by American folk music: Rachel Panitch, Sand and Snow Evan Fein, Kansas Sky Carson Cooman, Ever-Returning Spring (World Premiere) Alasdair Fraser & Natalie Haas, Valley of the Moon Reel; Giga de Tenerife; Natalie Mariah; Cameron's Caper; Peace Longing Juventas’s Neighborhood Series features our same phenomenal musicians in informal free concerts — right in your neighborhood.
