Ride The Cyclone

Agassiz Theater, Cambridge, MA

Admission: $15

Harvard-Radcliffe Dramatic Club and the Office for the Arts present Ride the Cyclone, the darkly funny, cult-favorite musical about the lives we live and the ones we never got to. Follow six teenagers from the St. Cassian Chamber Choir of Uranium, Saskatchewan, whose ride on the Cyclone roller coaster ends in a fatal accident. They awaken in a strange carnival limbo ruled by The Amazing Karnak, a mechanical fortune teller who makes them compete for a chance to come back to life. Featuring a genre-hopping score that runs from glam rock to French cabaret to power ballads, Ride the Cyclone is a wild, irreverent, and ultimately heartfelt look at the lives we lead, the ones we imagine, and what it means to have lived at all.
