The Lilypatch - A FaMLE Concert
The Lily Pad, 1353 Cambridge St, Cambridge, MA
free admission / 7pm doors / 7:30 show / seated / all ages FaMLE is the Fabulous MIT Laptop Ensemble , an eclectic group of electronic musicians making music together. Every semester we split into 5-6 small groups exploring a variety of musical styles: techno, experimental, drum’n’bass, ambient, hyper-pop. . . For this concert we are bringing three groups of experienced FAMLE members to share their music with the Lilypad community, and give them a chance to stretch out and improvise. We will be bringing a motley assortment of software and hardware instruments — expect to see analog synthesizers, live coding, homemade electronic instruments, singing hard drives - it’s hard to know what to expect!
