Gallery Talk: The Gelatin Silver Print

Join photographs conservator Tatiana Cole for a discussion about the gelatin silver print—the most popular photographic process of the 20th century. We will take a closer look at photographs on view in the exhibition The Way We Never Were: The American Professional Photographers Collection and appreciate the wide range of surface textures and image tones achievable through this medium. The Way We Never Were: The American Professional Photographers Collection is on view from August 29, 2026 to May 9, 2027.
