Harvard Book Store welcomes Emile Chabal —Professor of Contemporary History at the University of Edinburgh and historian of twentieth-century European political and intellectual life—for a discussion of his new biography, The Age of Hobsbawm: The Life of a Revolutionary Historian . He will be joined in conversation by James Cronin — Research Professor in History at Boston College and affiliate of the Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies at Harvard University, where he currently co-chairs the Seminar on Contemporary European Politics.
