The Somerville Ciné Club would like to organize a screening of the 1987 movie “An Autumn’s Tale”, directed by Mabel Cheung Yuen-Ting. We hope that this screening is an opportunity for the community to gather for a heartwarming evening featuring a film by a noteworthy and under-acknowledged female director, as she portrays the main characters’ Cantonese diasporic experiences immigrating to NYC from Hong Kong.
