Colectivo C733—Gabriella Carrillo and Carlos Facio (in collaboration with the Norman B. Leventhal Center for Advanced Urbanism) Part of the MIT Fall 2026 Architecture Lecture Series. Presented with the Architecture and Urbanism Group Gabriela Carrillo Gabriela Carrillo founded her eponymous practice in 2019 as a collaborative and interdisciplinary space rooted in architectural practice. She is a co-founder of Colectivo C733, developing public projects throughout Mexico; she was previously a partner at Taller Rocha Carrillo for more than nine years. With more than twenty years of professional experience, she has received numerous distinctions, including the Emerging Voices Award in 2014, the Federico Mariscal Chair, the highest recognition for professional practice awarded by the Faculty of Architecture at UNAM, the Médaille d'Or of the French Academy of Architecture, Architect of the Year by The Architectural Review in London in 2017, Architect of the Year by Architectural Digest México in 2020, and in 2023 she received the Royal Academy Dorfman Award.
