New to Medicare / SHINE Workshop (Council on Aging)

If you are turning 65 or transitioning out of an employer group health plan due to retirement, Minuteman Senior Services’ New to Medicare workshop is your guide to understanding your coverage options and finding a plan that works for you. Topics include Medicare part A and B benefits and coverage gaps, when to apply for Medicare, how to apply for Medicare, health insurance plans that work with Medicare, understanding premiums, deductibles, maximum out of pocket costs, and choosing the right supplement plan. This workshop will be led by Marion Severynse, a Cambridge resident and state trained Medicare benefits counselor.
