Pull up your cowboy boots and join the Talking Hearts and the Ben Wetherbee Honky-Tonk Band for Honky Tonk Holiday on December 3! Channeling the spirit of country music icons Loretta Lynn, George Jones, and Buck Owens, the Talking Hearts play witty and relatable original songs written by fiddler Rachel Rosenberg about folks who’ve done her wrong. The six-piece ensemble features thick three-part harmony singing, vibrant mandolin, and wailing pedal steel over an infectious rhythmic groove. The Ben Wetherbee Honky-Tonk Band features country grooves soaked in funk, surf, swing, Cajun and Zydeco that get their audiences dancing every time as blazing telecaster, pedal steel, and fiddle solos rock the crowd. With a 30-minute Blackout Country Dancing lesson before the show, you’ll be sure to two-step the night away against a backdrop of catchy contemporary hits and classic country gems from Boston's two cutting-edge country bands.
