Ballet IV/V (Ages 14+)
The Dance Complex, 536 Massachusetts Ave, Studio 6, Cambridge, MA
Students learn proficiency at the barre and continue with complicated center work. Emphasis on musicality and precision of movement continue as we concentrate on combining knowledge of ballet steps into fluid dance combinations. Students who are ready may be working en pointe. This class is for students who have taken at least 5-6 years of continuous ballet instruction. Please note, a two day per week commitment is required for the Ballet IV/V level. If students prefer to attend one day per week, please register for Ballet I/II on Saturday. Placement in this class is by instructor approval only. Girls’ Dress Code: Solid-Color Leotard, Ballet Pink or Skin Tone Footed Tights, Pink or Skin Tone Canvas Ballet Slippers. Ballet skirts and warm-ups are permitted. Hair must be neatly secured in a bun away from the face and neck. Boys’ Dress Code: White T-Shirt, Black Tights or Leggings, Black Ballet Slippers.
